Our Philosophy

Environmental Management

This Environmental Management Policy Standard is concerned with achieving and demonstrating sound environmental performance through the identification and control of the impacts of our activities and services on the environment consistent with our overall environmental policy and objectives. Our commitment extends to all our activities, wherever they take place, which have the potential to adversely affect the environment.
We aim to prevent environmental damage, minimize energy and resource usage and ensure that the principles of sustainable development are operated throughout all our work.
We will therefore:

1. Identify the significant environmental aspects and impacts from current and relevant past activities and, where we can be expected to have an implement an appropriate environmental management system .

2. Minimize and where reasonably practicable eliminate any adverse impact on the Environment arising from the activities of our business .
3. Minimize the use of energy, resources consumed and waste produced while undertaking our business activities in a safe and professional manner .
4. Support the reduction, reuse and recycling of materials and ensure the legal disposal of All waste arising from the activities of the business .
5. Comply with legal requirements and where appropriate go beyond compliance with the minimum environmental requirements of legislative bodies and our customers .
6. Make appropriate resources available to manage the environment and ensure human resource roles, responsibilities and authorities are defined .
7. Ensure that all staff whose work may create a significant impact upon the environment are provided with adequate and appropriate information and training and are competent in environmental matters .
8. Inform and train our staff in understanding and fulfilling their environmental .
9. Establish and measure environmental performance against objectives and/or targets .
10. Regularly review our environmental management system at senior management level with a view to continually improving our environmental performance .

Goals

1. Shows the commitment of our management and workers to health and safety .

2. Aims to remove or reduce the risks to the health, safety and welfare of all workers, contractors and visitors, and anyone else who may be affected by our business operations .

3. Aims to ensure all work activities are done safely .

Responsibilities

Top Management is responsible for providing and maintaining as far as possible:

1. A safe working environment .

2. Safe systems of work .

3. Plant and substances in safe condition.

4. Facilities for the welfare of all workers any information, instruction, training and supervision needed to make sure that all workers are safe from injury and risks to their health .

Workers

Are responsible for :
1. Ensuring their own personal health and safety, and that of others in the workplace .
2. Complying with any reasonable directions (such as safe work procedures, wearing personal protective equipment) given by management for health and safety .
3. Not misuse or interfere with anything provided for health and safety .
4. Report all accidents and incidents on the job immediately, no matter how trivial .
5. Report all known or observed hazards to their supervisor or manager.
